Inspired by his spiritual journey and childhood nickname "Mouse," Marcus crafts stories that captivate and inspire young readers. With a childlike imagination, he weaves tales of adventure and faith that resonate deeply with kids.
As a former NFL player, Marcus brings the same dedication and discipline to his storytelling as he did to the football field. Now, he's channeling his drive into becoming a clinician, aiming to make a positive impact on others' lives through both his professional and creative endeavors.
As a loving father, Marcus is committed to pouring into the next generation, striving to be a positive example for his own children and others. Through his collective writings for children and adults, Marcus aims to instill faith, courage, and hope in the hearts of others, encouraging them to grow and thrive in their walk with Christ.

Meet Leah Thigpen, a key part of the creative genius behind the design of each enchanting book! With a keen eye for captivating illustrations and a passion for the art of storytelling, Leah loves to bring stories to life, sparking imagination and joy.
But that's not all! Leah wears many hats – from her time as a dedicated leader in nonprofit organizations, to being a part of the creative force behind "Whisker Wonders”. Her journey from leading social justice initiatives to supporting her husband as he authors heartwarming “tails” for children is nothing short of inspirational.
Leah is a firm believer in Jesus Christ and the messages in the Whisker Wonders series resonate deeply with her spiritual journey. She is passionate about sharing the Gospel with others in creative ways and loves that she gets to do this in partnership with her husband.
